Changes to the Process of Supply of Supports for the NDIA – SWEP

The NDIA is making changes to its assistive technology (AT) and home modification (HM) working arrangements with SWEP in Victoria.

This is part of an ongoing program of changes to ensure the NDIA’s AT and HM processes are nationally consistent and easy to use for NDIS participants and providers.

From 1 July 2019, NDIS participants and providers throughout Australia are to send all AT and HM assessments and quotes directly to their local NDIA office via email and not through SWEP. The NDIA and its partners in the community will have full responsibility for managing those assessments and related quotes and advising the participant of the outcome.
